History

St. Matthew Lutheran School is an integral part of the mission and ministry of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. The school opened formally in 1905, registered with Alberta Education that same year making it the oldest school in the province. The focus at St. Matthew has always been one of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with students and families.
