Admissions / Enrollment

It is the intent of St. Matthew Lutheran School to have as open an enrollment policy as possible. Students from all backgrounds are welcome and accepted; however, in order to keep peace and harmony within the school, some restrictions will apply.

1. Age - Pre-school - students must be 4 years of age by December 31 of the current school year.
   Age - Kindergarten - students must be 5 years of age by December 31 of the current school year.
2. Both students and parents must be accepting of the purpose and policies of St. Matthew Lutheran School.
3. The educational program must meet the needs of the student. Should a student require special needs or services which St. Matthew Lutheran School is not equipped to offer, parents will be advised of other options available to them.
4. There are no general admission restrictions. St. Matthew Lutheran School will admit students of any race, colour or ethnic origin to all rights and privileges, programs and activities generally made available to students at the school.
